The Yassine Lab and Collaborates at Isoformix Inc. publish in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease


This paper presents a novel finding, that CSF apoE4 protein is the most abundant isoform in E4/E3 heterozygotes and least glycosylated in a small cohort of samples. What is also unique is the application of a newly developed, simple mass spectrometry-based apoE assay (MSIA ApoE) led by Isoformix collaborators. These findings are important because they provide potential insights into apoE4’s unique metabolism and role in Alzheimer’s disease pathology.
